Practical orientation of procurement management
The company with headquarters in Austria and branches worldwide is a telecommunications and traffic telematics group with a total of approx. 5500 employees and a turnover of approx. 900 million euros. As part of a planned revision of internal purchasing processes, the customer initiated an optimization project in 2015.
In order to modernize the existing procurement processes, MARKTGUT® was asked to identify, evaluate and prioritize current standards and trends in the industry. Afterwards, recommendations for action and measures for implementation were developed in expert workshops. Additional group synergies of the entire group were used.
The project ended with the preparation of a roadmap for the implementation of the modernized processes.
