As part of the restructuring of the global IT department, the CDO was supported in defining a global IT strategy. The main focus was on the development of strategic objectives, including mission, vision and values, guidelines for leadership & organization, and alignment of portfolio & business model including recommendations for roll-out. The result was a strategy document and a roadmap for implementation for 18 months. A resulting project relates to the calculation of the value of IT projects in order to evaluate and prioritize incoming project inquiries from the business environment.
